1. Agreement

These terms are between you and Nuri Pty Ltd ("Nuri", "we"). By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. Who can use Nuri

You must be at least [AGE].

3. Nuri is not medical or mental-health advice

Nuri is a planning and self-reflection tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric or therapeutic advice, diagnosis or treatment.

• Its insights and suggestions are generated automatically from what you record. They are observations, not clinical findings.
• Nothing in the app should be used to diagnose or treat any condition, or relied on instead of advice from a qualified professional.
• If you are in crisis or may be at risk of harming yourself, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately. Nuri is not monitored, and no one reads what you write.

4. Your account

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Tell us at support@nuriapp.io if you think it's been compromised.

5. Your recovery code

When you create your account we show you a recovery code, once. You can't skip past it, because there is no second chance to show it.

• The code protects an encryption key belonging to your account. We store a sealed copy of that key which only your code can open — we can't open it ourselves.
• If you lose your phone, reinstall the app, or sign in on a new device, your recovery code is how that key is restored. Your account itself is recoverable by email; the key is not.
• Today, what you write is stored encrypted in transit and at rest, and can be read by us in the course of operating the service. Losing your recovery code does not currently make anything you've written unreadable.
• We are building end-to-end encryption, so that what you write can be read only by you. When it ships, this same key will protect it — and from that point neither we nor anyone else will be able to recover what you've written without your code. That is why it's worth saving now, while you have it.

We will update these terms, and the date above, when that change takes effect. Until then this section describes what the app does today.

6. Subscriptions and payment

Nuri is offered as a free trial followed by a paid subscription — currently [$7.99/month or $59/year — CONFIRM AT LAUNCH].

• Purchases are made through the Apple App Store and governed by Apple's terms
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends
• Manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings — we can't cancel for you
• Refunds are handled by Apple, under their policy
• We may change pricing with notice; changes never apply to a period already paid for

7. Acceptable use

Don't use Nuri to break the law, infringe others' rights, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the service, or scrape or resell it.

8. Your content

What you record stays yours. You grant us only the technical permission needed to store and sync it for you.

9. Our content

The app itself — its software, design and branding — belongs to us and may not be copied or reused without permission.

10. Availability

We aim to keep Nuri running but can't guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change or discontinue features. [IF YOU DISCONTINUE, COMMIT TO A NOTICE PERIOD AND AN EXPORT PATH]

11. Termination

You can stop using Nuri and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
